Verstappen reveals his dachshund's name live on stream

A few days ago, it was announced that Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet had taken in a new puppy. The Dutchman is known for his love of cats, and where just two months ago he announced he had taken in a new cat, he has now added a new pet to his ever growing family. This time it is not a cat, but a dog, and during a livestream Verstappen revealed the name the pooch's name.
Verstappen reveals he has a dog
Besides cats Jimmy and Sassy, the family also welcomed Donatello at the end of November. Verstappen announced the latter's name in Las Vegas. This time, Verstappen gave the scoop on his Twitch stream, revealing the puppy's name.
"Great, yes, his name is Nino, but he's gone for a while now. I put his food here, and then he wasn't interested in me anymore, haha," the four-time Formula 1 world champion explained during his stream. Things are starting to get cosy in Verstappen's house with three cats, one dog, Penelope - Kelly Piquet 's well-known daughter - and the baby he and the Brazilian are expecting.
Verstappen in action this weekend
Verstappen will be in action during sim racing this weekend. On behalf of Team Redline, the Dutchman is competing in the virtual 24 Hours of Daytona.
