Hamilton thanks Tifosi on Instagram after first days at Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton has now got the first few days of being a Ferrari driver under his belt after he completed a TPC test for the Scuderia. The Tifosi had to wait a long time to see the seven-time world champion in a Ferrari car for the first time after the news broke before the 2024 season that he would join the Prancing Horse in 2025, but on Wednesday, it finaly happened. On his Instagram, the Brit thanked his new fans for the warm welcome.
On Monday, it was Hamilton's very first day at Ferrari. Immediately, it became clear that he was hugely popular with the Tifosi. Hundreds of people turned up at Maranello to take photos with the brand-new Ferrari driver. The seven-time world champion himself spoke of a day he had waited for forever.
Last Wednesday, Hamilton actually saw some action in a Ferrari. At Fiorano, the Briton did a TPC test, getting behind the wheel of the SF-23 from the 2023 season. In total, he drove 30 laps, totalling 89 kilometres.

On his Instagram, the Briton expressed his appreciation for everyone who has supported him over the past few days. He said: "Settling in. Thank you to the Tifosi and everyone at Ferrari for the warm welcome."

After his first test for his new team, the brand-new Ferrari driver was hugely enthusiastic. He stated that he had had many tests in his career, but that driving a Ferrari for the first time was one of the best feelings of his life. The seven-time world champion also stated that there is a lot of work to do, but that he cannot wait to get started.
