F1 Today | FIA releases new rules, and F1 announces new partnership!
- Savannah Lenz
Many changes are happening in the world of Formula 1, and they are all happening before the season starts! Today, F1 announced a new partnership, and fans read the FIA's new layout for driver fines. Guenther Steiner shared his thoughts on the 2025 championship.
FIA releases new rules
Fans everywhere were outraged and shocked at the new rules set out by the FIA. For a Formula 1 driver, as F1 falls into the level four category, the lowest fine now set for them is €40,000. Most fines and fee changes are directly related to inappropriate language/actions. Another change that has been enacted is that drivers will lose championship points for their third offence.
Ramsay spices up F1
World-renowned chef and Formula 1 fan Gordan Ramsay will be gracing ten out of the 24 paddocks with a special treat. Ramsay will be cooking meals inspired by the F1 races and the Grand Prix weekend. Last year, Ramsay was in the Las Vegas paddock, but this year, he will be in nine others. Both Ramsay and Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali were very happy with the partnership and the announcement. The locations in which Ramsay will be at are Miami, Canada, Britain, Italy, Austin, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
