According to Ralf Schumacher, Max Verstappen is a very unique presence in Formula 1. Just like Ralf's brother, Michael Schumacher, Verstappen has won a world championship title. In fact, he has managed to win four in a row. Ralf explained how there are only a few special people in Formula 1 who could do what Michael and Verstappen have done.

As he spoke to The Times, Ralf Schumacher talked about his adventures with his brother Michael. However, Ralf also mentioned Verstappen in their conversation. The Former F1 driver said, "If you look back at the last few years, there are not many people making a big difference like my brother — if you consider where he started with the car and what he could do with it.". Ralf continued, "It’s the same for me now with Max Verstappen."

'Nobody like Verstappen in Formula 1'

"To me, he really makes a difference. There is no one like Max in Formula 1 at present. This is clear.” Whether or not Ralf considered him on par with that talent was unclear. He said, “I don’t know." Going into more detail, Ralf mentioned, “Sometimes I had it, and sometimes I didn’t.”

Verstappen will now start the 2025 season at the Australian Grand Prix on 16 March 2025 at Albert Park. If Verstappen manages to win the opening race, he will extend his record for being number one in the champion standings. He has held first place since during the 2022 season when he passed Charles Leclerc in the championship standings.

Verstappen has also already said that he will be fighting for his fifth championship
