Reaction to FIA with flexible front wings decision
Last week, it was reported that FIA are set to change the technical directive in terms of the flexible front wings, that already caused much controversy and many debates over the course of the 2024 season. From the Spanish Grand Prix onwards, front wings can only bend up to a maximum of 10 milimetres, instead of the 15 that was used last season. Former F1 car designer, Gary Anderson, who worked for Jordan and Stewart among other teams, sees a clear issue with the decision.
Red Bull recruits: Is there a catch?
On Saturday, De Telegraaf have reported that Red Bull Racing have recruited 60 new staff members to join their team for the 2025 season. Especially after many referred to key personnel leaving the Austrian's as an exodus, recruiting from particularly Mercedes is a positive story for the team. Stella warns Hamilton and Ferrari, What's next in McLaren's WEC adventure?
After Christian Horner previously called Hamilton's first day at Ferrari 'box office', Andrea Stella told Sky Sports that he also 'felt excited' seeing the Briton in Maranello. Still, after his team McLaren and Ferrari battled in Abu Dhabi for the constructors' championship, the Italian team principal promised they have a clear goal of making their time together a "bit more difficult".
After Ford have announced that they will join WEC's hypercar category with a factory team, McLaren will have to look for alternatives. The two seemed to team up to join the competition, but in the end that did not materialise. What could be the next step for CEO Zak Brown's team?
