Carlos Sainz has wrapped up his first days at Williams and already appears to be settling in well with his new team. The British outfit shared a video on social media capturing his first day at Grove, where team boss James Vowles wasted no time getting straight to the point.

Williams has released a behind-the-scenes video capturing Carlos Sainz’s first day with the team. The footage shows the Spaniard touring the factory, meeting his new colleagues, and sitting in a Williams car. In a unique twist, instead of being interviewed by a journalist, Sainz answered questions from his new team boss, James Vowles. The questions covered everything from his decision to join Williams to more personal topics.

"How is your hair always always so good after a race? When I've been racing and take my crash helmet off, you know when your parents had a bowl, they put it on your head and then cut around it? That's what my haircut looks like. Yours looks like this. So what am I doing wrong?" the team boss asked, laughing.

Sainz asked how often Vowles washed his hair per day, nodding as the Brit told him once. "Okay, that's not bad. Honestly, I don't do anything," the Spaniard also acknowledged, laughing. "I guess one of the genetical good things of Spanish people, is we have good hair. My girlfriend that is Scottish always says it to me how jealous she is. She sees me every day in the shower just doing one shampoo. But we can maybe work on that a bit, I'll give you a few tricks that maybe I don't give to everyone," Sainz said.
