The ambitious Aston Martin team have confirmed when their 2025 car will be revealed to the public for the first time. The day to marked in the calendar: 23 February.
The shakedown filming day run of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll's new car will take place a day later, on 24 February. Then, on 26 February, Formula 1's three-day pre-season test will begin.
The Aston Martin livery will already be revealed on 18 February. That will happen during the special event to celebrate 75 years of Formula 1 in London, where all teams will be present at the O2 Arena.
Newey not yet involved in Aston Martin car
Aston Martin's new car has been named AMR25. Adrian Newey has not yet worked on the car, as the designer is currently on gardening leave after leaving Red Bull Racing and will start work on 3 March next for this now team
The Briton's main focus will be on developing the car for 2026. Nevertheless, Newey did not previously rule out the possibility that owner Lawrence Stroll will also require him to occasionally watch over the further development of the AMR25.
