Christian Horner has made it clear that he does not plan to leave Red Bull Racing anytime soon. The team principal, who is under contract with the Milton Keynes-based team until 2030, intends to see out his deal.

Red Bull faced a tumultuous year in 2024, on and off the track. First, Horner was investigated for alleged transgressive behaviour. The team boss was later cleared of any wrongdoing. Throughout the year, the team also experienced the departures of key figures, such as sporting director Jonathan Wheatley and renowned designer Adrian Newey. On top of that, Red Bull encountered difficulties on the technical side.

Horner: 'My commitment remains absolute'

Asked about his future plans and whether he intends to remain linked to Red Bull in the long term, Horner stated: "Yeah, I've got a commitment to Red Bull to the end of the decade,” he told the Express. “My commitment remains absolute."

Christian Horner is the longest-serving team principal in Formula 1. Appointed in 2005, he took the helm of Red Bull Racing when the team, founded by Dietrich Mateschitz, made its debut in the sport. Under his leadership, the team has enjoyed remarkable success, winning six Constructors' Championships and eight Drivers' Championships—four with Sebastian Vettel and another four with Max Verstappen.
