2009 Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button is set to compete in this year’s World Endurance Championship (WEC), including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as part of Jota alongside Earl Bamber and Sébastien Bourdais. Meanwhile, Norman Nato, Will Stevens, and Alex Lynn will drive the other car for Cadillac’s factory team.

It was already known which six drivers would compete in WEC on behalf of Jota for the upcoming season. The team has now announced the distribution of drivers across the two hypercars. Dieter Gass, the team boss, commented, "We have six extremely strong drivers with a combination of experience and fresh eyes on the Cadillac program.

"Each of these drivers brings something unique to the table, and as a team, our job was to establish which combinations made the most sense to maximize the overall strengths of the group. While character and personality play a big role in team dynamics, driving style and preferences were also key factors in determining who would be paired in each car. We took our time over this process, and we’re really looking forward to seeing what both trios can achieve in Qatar and beyond." Gass said.

Former Brawn driver Button and his teammates will kick off the WEC season with the official prologue test in Qatar on 21-22 February. Just a week later, they will return to the Losail International Circuit for the season-opening race.
