Stroll prepares himself for Newey's arrival: 'Vacation' update
Lance Stroll's 2024 season was not the easiest for the Canadian driver. Indeed he saw himself come under heavy criticism from experts and pundits who time and time again questioned his presence on the F1 grid. However, Stroll seems to be taking the challenge head on and is currently preparing himself for what looks to be a very important year for himself and his team.
Since Fernando Alonso made his debut at Aston Martin, the Spaniard has soundly beaten the Canadian in their head to head duels, bringing to the fore the difference in performance between both drivers, with many pundits and experts wondering why Stroll is still on the F1 grid. His incidents last year in China and in Brazil did not help the Canadian's case either.
Lance Stroll trains non stop during winter break
While a video of Stroll taking the wheel of the Sports & You team Citroen C3 Rally2 car in Portugal, in the legendary Fafe stage circulated on social media some days ago, the Canadian has now shared a video update of what his winter break has entailed so far.
Indeed, Stroll appears to be undergoing a gruelling preparation for the upcoming F1 season. 2025 marks a very important year for the team which has seen a radical change to its structure with Andy Cowell taking on the role as not only CEO, but also team principal, seeing Mike Krack moved to Chief Trackside Engineer and with Adrian Newey's name also being added to the team's roster as of early March, and Stroll looks set to make the most of it.
