Problem during Haas' shakedown: Ocon has visible damage on the VF-25

- Ludo van Denderen
Haas F1 hoped to conduct their VF-25 shakedown last Sunday quietly, but it seems like the first test with their 2025 car did not go so smoothly. Latest photos on social media now show Esteban Ocon's car having been damaged.
One of the pictures show that Ocon's rights sidepod has been damaged on Haas F1's 2025 challenger, as its cover of the sidepod got loose. The reason why it was damaged is unknown, but in any case, it could be fixed smoothly. After returning to the pit lane and getting a new piece fitted on the car, Ocon could immediately continue his run.

What exactly happened therefore remain's anyone's guess, as Haas have not shared reports about their shakedown. There are now photos until Tuesday, the day the F1 75 event will be held, and all 10 teams are revealing their liveries.
The team of Ocon and British youngster Oliver Bearman will travel to Bahrain from London on Tuesday evening, where a second shakedown will happen over the course of the week. Bearman will then have the chance to sit in the team's latest car for the first time.
