Brown dines with major Formula One stars, but highlights one missing person
Zak Brown dined with several Formula 1 legends ahead of the F1 75 live event in London, where all teams will reveal their 2025 liveries. While McLaren had already unveiled its car with a run at Silverstone in 'camo' last week, Brown took the opportunity to relax before the big night. However, he couldn't help but notice the absence of one key figure.
Brown is very grateful for his position at McLaren, he revealed via a post on social media. He shared this as a caption to a photo of a dinner party, ahead of the Formula One event in London on Tuesday night. "I’m often asked if I ever take a moment to reflect on how fortunate I am to be CEO of McLaren. The reality is, I rarely do as I’m always fully focused on the present, helping our team push for success."
Brown dines with big names ahead of F1 75 live
The evening before F1 75 in London, Brown dined with legendary names from the world of Formula 1. "But tonight, celebrating 75 years of @F1, I had dinner at @luckycatbygordonramsay with the biggest legends of our sport - four of my five all-time favourite drivers: @EmersonFittipaldi, @F1MikaHakkinen, @andrettimario, and @NigelMansell," his post continued.
Despite having four world champions at the table, Brown specifically missed one person: Ayrton Senna, one of the best drivers the sport has ever known. Senna died in 1994 after a devastating crash at Imola. "Only Ayrton was missing. I truly wish I’d had the chance to meet him back in the day, but tonight provided a priceless moment that reminds me why I love this sport so much."
