Mercedes already revealed its 2025 livery at the F1 75 event in London, but today the German racing stable has finally shown the car that will don the outift's colours and compete on track next season.

Starting next Wednesday, the Formula 1 season will officially kick off at the Bahrain International Circuit, with a three-day winter test. In total, all drivers will have a day and a half to settle into their cars, and the teams will have a chance to uncover the intricacies of their automobiles ahead of the first round of the championship in Melbourne in a little over two week's time.

Mercedes in Formula 1

Mercedes returned to the Formula 1 grid in 2010 after an absence of almost 55 years, after taking over from Brawn GP. Since then, the German racing stable has enjoyed numerous fine successes in the premier class. Meanwhile, Mercedes has eight constructors' titles, nine world championships, 128 victories, 139 pole positions and 109 fastest race laps to its name.

Most of these successes were achieved by Lewis Hamilton, who left for Ferrari at the end of 2024. He will be succeeded next season by 18-year-old Kimi Antonelli, seen by many as a future world champion. He will drive alongsie George Russell.
