One of the biggest questions of the 2025 season is when will teams shift their focus to 2026? For some teams, it will be a no brainer as they will not be in the fight for a championship. But for others, not so much. Analyst Peter Windsor explains on his YouTube channel what he expects from Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen this season.

Windsor shares his findings on the Red Bull car

"Red Bull doesn't seem to have done anything too radical to the car and it wasn't that far off, just inconsistent in the second half of the year." Windsor continued, "It was quick, periodically, obviously very good in the wet, but in the hands of Max. But equally, it was not bad in others and hopefully, where it's not bad, it's now much better."

About the new RB21, he says, "You'd imagine it would be knowing Red Bull. It makes the point that they've gone to these different intercoolers because they're cheaper to run or make or whatever. It's part of the budget thing, and they're putting everything they can into the 2026 car and only going to focus on the driver's championship. But, you know, if they're doing that, that's quite clever if they can pull that off."

Windsor thinks Red Bull wants to win every race

Windsor concluded, "I mean, to me, that's almost like playing with fire because you're just trying to win every Grand Prix. You start trying to think too much about it. Oh, well, we'll really go to the constructors. We'll go to the drivers and really going to try and get a little pole. We'll try and qualify second because of inside on the first corner. You know, as soon as you start getting down to details like that, it almost goes wrong, in my opinion. It usually does. You just try and win every race and get on with it. And I think that's what Max will do."
