Grosjean had too little time to plan test

Grosjean clarifies that the delay has been on his side: ''I'm gonna be honest, it's on my side. It's my fault. I just haven't found the time recently to. To do that and to plan it properly. I think we had everything set up in 2021, but, you know, Covid didn't really help.''

So I have everything ready. We just haven't. found a date.'' Grosjean concludes with a wink, "I'm keeping it for my 40th birthday, which comes next year as a present for myself." Currently, the Frenchman is still active as a reserve driver in the IndyCar Series with Prema.
Romain Grosjean was promised a Mercedes test by Toto Wolff after his crash in Bahrain 2020, but it has thus still not taken place. The Frenchman was unable to drive the last two races of the 2020 season due to the consequences of the crash and was replaced by Pietro Fittipaldi.
