Bearman causes red flag with first major crash in Australia and 2025
F1 News

The first crash of 2025 has just unfolded in Australia. Oliver Bearman caused considerable damage to his Haas with a big hit. The Briton himself got away unscathed, however.
With around 20 minutes to go in the first practice session, Ollie Bearman suffered a dramatic incident which eliminated the 19-year-old from the session. Coming into sector three, Bearman became the first driver to find the barrier after dipping his car into the gravel and then losing it fully. The Brit jumped out of the car safely, but his Haas team will be upset after an incident during a crucial learning session.
The crash caused big damage on the right side of the Haas. There'll be damage to the suspension, side pod and the front and rear wing. With Bearman sliding across the entire width of the track, there will have to be plenty of work done to the track for the session to continue.
An unfortunate crash for Ollie Bearman brings out the red flag :scream:
