Over the final two Grands Prix of the previous season, Max Verstappen and George Russell did not get along well. After a war of words in 2024, the two drivers have clarified where their relationship stands in this moment in time.

Verstappen and Russell are good with each other

During the final rounds of the 2024 season, with the drivers' championship settled, only the constructors' title was on the line. However, after qualifying at the Qatar weekend, the spotlight turned on the conflict between Russell and Verstappen instead.

The two drivers finished in P2 and P3 respectively in Melbourne, and therefore attended the press conference together. As, Lando Norris sat between the two, the drivers were asked about their relationship.

Verstappen then answered jokingly: "It's still shockingly bad," he laughed. "I mean, it's all good," he then added. Russell didn't elaborate further, just agreed with responding: "What he said".
