Grand Prix winner Oscar Piastri stood above the rest of the grid in the F1 Power Rankings, but the overall leader remains the same driver after another strong performance at the Shanghai International Circuit.

The Australian received a 9.6 from the judges for finishing second in the Sprint and then winning it all on the Sunday. Behind Piastri, there is a three-way tie for second place between George Russell, Esteban Ocon and Alexander Albon, who all got an 8.8. As a result, the Thai-British driver also leads the overall ranking as well.

Max Verstappen received an 8.8, after he finished on the podium on Saturday, and then brought home his RB21 in fourth position after his car came alive during his stint on the hard tyres. Lando Norris follows in sixth place in these standings.

After winning his and Ferrari's first ever Sprint since the format was first introduced in the 2021 season, Lewis Hamilton scored a 7.6 as his fortune changed afterwards, and was eventually disqualified for plank assembly wear. The seven-time world champion is therefore not present in the Top 10 of the leaderboard either.
