Gasly sees potential in Red Bull Honda package

Pierre Gasly says he is expecting a boost in performance in future races from Red Bull Honda after completing his time in the car at the post-race test in Barcelona.
The Frenchman has struggled to match his teammate Max Verstappen's performances this season since his switch from Toro Rosso, however, has shown recent glimpses of improved form.
While Gasly has fallen behind his teammate in the championship standings, a strong drive in Baku until a driveshaft failure was evidence of progress in adjusting to the RB15
“Today was all about trying to establish a direction for the races to come and also to extract a bit more performance from our package," he said after his day testing in Barcelona.
“It was a busy day in the car and we managed to get through quite lots of test items."
Honda will be switching its focus from reliability to outright power after the head of the Japanese manufacturer's F1 project Masashi Yamamoto revealed the company was happy with its progress.
The Monaco Grand Prix will be the next challenge the team faces, with previous years indicating it could be a good race for Red Bull while Ferrari struggles with its 2019 car philosophy.
