Verstappen and Leclerc under investigation for Austrian Grand Prix incident
The incident between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc at the Austrian Grand Prix is under investigation by the race stewards after Verstappen overtook on lap 69.
After a disastrous start to the race, Verstappen dropped to seventh but recovered and overtook, Valterri Bottas and Leclerc in the closing stages of the race. It meant the Dutchman defended his race win at the Red Bull Ring from last season to the pleasure of the thousands of Dutch fans.
It all happened on lap 69, with Verstappen pushing hard and Leclerc's tyres degrading, Verstappen made a move down the inside forcing the Monegasque off the track. The Red Bull driver made the move stick and came home for his sixth career win.
