"Verstappen and Leclerc have stolen the show in 2019 Formula 1"

Formula 1 chief executive Chase Carey believes the younger generation such as Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc have "stolen the show" so far this season.
Verstappen was victorious in a gripping Austrian Grand Prix last month, stealing the win from Leclerc in the last few laps. The two have started a bit of a rivalry - carrying on their Austrian exploits - bringing them to Great Britain last time out.
The two were once again locked in battle; going wheel-to-wheel through many bits of the Silverstone circuit, providing the viewers with much excitement after a largely dull race in France before the Austrian GP left F1 in a shape of bother.
Carey, who is chief executive of the Formula One Group, believes the younger generation of drivers such as the before-mentioned duo, have stolen the show this season so far; despite Mercedes well out ahead.
"When we look at this season, I think it is mainly the younger generation that steals the show," Carey said to GPToday.net. "The fights between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc are of course wonderful examples, for which fans watch our sport.
"Thanks to our work, these young talents are coming, as we an F1 organisation also invest a lot in the Formula 2 class. You see that more and more different drivers with different backgrounds are entering Formula 1 and that is exactly what we are trying to do to stimulate."
