Pierre Gasly hopes to recreate GP2 success at Hungarian Grand Prix
Pierre Gasly is hoping for similar success to previous years at the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend. The track has been kind to the Frenchman in the past and he will be hoping that he can end the talks of him being replaced by finishing on the podium.
"Budapest is one of my favorite races on the calendar for many reasons," Gasly said. "Firstly, I really like tight, technical tracks with many corners, which is exactly the layout of the Hungaroring.
"Secondly, Budapest brings back a lot of good memories from last year’s race with Toro Rosso. It was my second-best result of the year with P6 and I’ve had a lot of good races in Hungary with victories, podiums and pole positions in GP2, Formula Renault 3.5 and Formula Renault 2.0."
Gasly will be desperate to prove himself and will be hoping to stop the rumors surrounding his future.
