Former Ferrari boss expects Sebastian Vettel to bounce back at Monza
Former Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali has predicted that Sebastian Vettel will return to top form at the Italian Grand Prix this weekend. The German driver has struggled to perform this season but will hope that things will turn around at Ferrari's home Grand Prix.
This season the stand out Ferrari driver has been Charles Leclerc and the youngster picked up his first Formula 1 race win last weekend at Spa.
"Many drivers are fast," former Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali told Italian radio Rai.
"But in Charles, I recognize the mental superiority and clarity of mind of a seasoned driver. He reminds me a lot of Niki Lauda."
Domenicali also predicts Vettel to bounce back at this historic Grand Prix.
"Monza is going to be a very important weekend for Ferrari, and I'm convinced that we'll see an aggressive Vettel," he said.
"I am not seeing a driver who has abdicated. Rather, I expect to see a very strong world champion."
It will be interesting to see how Vettel performs this weekend and Ferrari will hope that they can perform well at their home Grand Prix and pick up another race win.
