Rich Energy: Haas in negotiations to sell to Saudi investors
Oh, we thought we'd seen the back of this... Not a chance, Rich Energy may have just revealed that Haas F1 are in negotiations to be sold to Saudi investors in another cryptic tweet from the energy drink's account.
Haas parted ways with Rich Energy earlier this month following months of controversy, which included the CEO of Rich Energy being ousted by the company and then reinstated. They parted ways after Rich Energy cited a "corporate restructuring process at Rich Energy will see the need for a revised global strategy".
The latest turn has seen Rich Energy potential reveal the future of the Haas team. A tweet on the official Rich Energy account read: "We wish HaasF1Team the best of luck in negotiations selling the team to Saudi investors. An excellent team and great investment" followed by several hashtags.
Earlier today Haas announced they would stick with the same lineup in 2020.
