Lewis Hamilton still not thinking about the title following Russian GP win!
Lewis Hamilton says that winning in Russia was "incredible" as Mercedes took advantage of a virtual safety car to get in front of the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc to win the race, his 82nd in F1.
Ferrari were favourites for the race, having won the last three, and led the early stages until Sebastian Vettel suffered an MGU-K problem and was forced to pull off to the side and retire.
This brought out the virtual safety car, allowing Mercedes to pit both Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas and get them both out ahead of polesitter Charles Leclerc, with Hamilton cruising home for the win.
Hamilton told Sky Sports after the race: "It's incredible to have this result today considering how quick [Ferrari] were off the start. Just keeping up with them was the real incredibly hard task. But we haven't given up and we keep pushing.
"Honestly I try not think about the championship. One step at a time, one foot in front of the other - we don't want to stumble."
