Hamilton describes the Brazilian Grand Prix as racing with the "gloves off"

2019 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has said his experiences at the Brazilian Grand Prix this year will prove to be an important learning curve when it comes to racing with the "gloves off".
The Brit battled with Max Verstappen for large parts of the Brazilian Grand Prix before losing his place on the podium after an incident with Alex Albon.
“When you look at the last race, my gloves were off,” Hamilton said speaking during an appearance at the Gran Turismo World Finals in Monaco.
“If that was a championship race, I would have just finished second. A pretty chilled in second and bag the points.
“So of course you have the balance of knowing when to push for it. And that was the first race really this year that I could really push like that - go over the edge and see how it is."
The Brit has enjoyed another successful season winning the title and is now just one championship victory behind F1 legend Michael Schumacher.
