Horner impressed with the job Sainz is doing at McLaren

Carlos Sainz has produced several top-quality performances for McLaren this season, including securing his place on the podium in the most recent race in Brazil. This has earnt him strong praise from Aston Martin Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner.
Sainz' performances have seen him reach 95 points in the standings going into the final race of the season, level with Pierre Gasly.
"It's nice to see him doing a very good job in a good car this year." Horner was quoted by Speedweek.com.
"He has done a very good job so far and drove well.
"He was probably the best midfield driver after the group of top team pilots and he has some shown considerable races.
"We have decided to go our separate ways, but we are still proud to have given him the chance to move up to F1, and he took this opportunity to build a GP career, even if he did does with another team."
