Dutch GP chiefs sure that there will be no repeat of Indy 2005

The Dutch GP will return in 2020 and the chiefs of the Zandvoort circuit have reassured that there won't be a repeat of the 2005 US Grand Prix.
In 2005, all Michelin runners retired from the race in the US Grand Prix after the formation lap after the tyre company couldn't guarantee that tyres would be able to deal with the banked corner, leaving six drivers in the race.
“I don’t expect any issues with the tyres,” Former F1 driver Jan Lammers was quoted by GPToday. “There are two reasons for that.
“First of all, the corner in Indianapolis is way longer than this one. So the overall tyre load was much heavier there.
“Second, the corners in Indianapolis have some kind of linear banking. Over here we have progressive banking, almost comparable to a bobsleigh track"
