Christian Horner expects "everybody to end up remaining in the same seats" in 2021
Many drivers come to the end of their contracts at the end of 2020 but Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner doesn't think there will be much change on the grid. Max Verstappen is one of the drivers who is out of contract but Horner is hopeful he can do enough to keep the Dutchman at his team.
"All the top guys are out of contract at the end of next year," Horner told Dieter Rencken. "[Verstappen’s] very happy in this team. We love having him within the team, he fits very well here.
"It’s down to us to give him a competitive car next year. But I think ultimately when the music stops, I wouldn’t be at all surprised for everybody to end up remaining in the same seats."
Verstappen will need a competitive car if he is to stay at the team but with the way the Honda engine is progressing, it won't take much for Red Bull to be genuine contenders in the next few years.
