F1 social check: Teams and drivers celebrate Michael Schumacher's birthday
Michael Schumacher turns 51 today (Friday, January 3) and with that comes a celebration for a driver who in many eyes is the greatest to have ever competed in Formula 1. It's no surprise to see some celebrations on social media, as well as messages of keep fighting Michael as he continues to recover from a skiing incident.
Ferrari encourages Schumacher
Schumacher achieved most of his success at Ferrari during the early '00s. On Instagram, the Italians posted a photo encouraging the German to keep fighting. The seven-time world champion has been in a coma since 2013 after a tragic skiing accident. His situation seems to be improving but in small steps. They end the message with the hashtag 'His Ferrari'.
