Fernando Alonso is currently driving in his first-ever Dakar Rally, with the two-time Formula 1 champion driving the Toyota Hilux through the Saudi Arabian desert. A major part of Dakar is car maintenance and improvisation, and the Spaniard showed both in this clip!

Alonso and his co-pilot Marc Coma, a five-time Dakar winner, were stranded for two hours on day two as they broke down during the stage. Fixes needed to be made, some of which on the bodywork. Nothing a bit of duct tape and some zip ties can't fix!
