Williams sign new designers from Red Bull and Renault!

Williams have announced two new signings to the technical side of their team, appointing David Worner and Jonathan Carter as their new chief designer and deputy chief designer respectively.
Both new appointments have several decades of experience in Formula 1, with Worner spending the bulk of his career at Aston Martin Red Bull Racing since 2003, when it was still called Jaguar while Carter honed his skills at McLaren since 2002.
In Williams' announcement, the team state the duo will fill their new roles "in the near future", meaning they won't pack their bags and move to Grove just yet.
Deputy team principal Claire Williams is very happy to have bulked the design team.
“Dave and Jonathan bring enormous experience, knowledge and skills to the Williams team, and we are delighted that they are joining us in the near future," she commented.
For Williams, it will be all about starting the year off right. In 2019, they missed crucial time in Barcelona by missing multiple testing days as the FW42 was not done in time. This will not happen again this year!
