Verstappen wins again: Dominant occurrence of Verstappen during simraces
- GPblog.com
It was already clear that sim racing really is something for Max Verstappen, but the Dutchman really left his mark on Team Redline's season on Wednesday night, with two dominant victories in both races.
With number 33 Verstappen was at the start of the simulation of iRacing on the circuit of Barcelona. 40 drivers participated on Wednesday, with a list of iconic names. Among others Lando Norris, Stoffel Vandoorne, Juan Pablo Montoya and Antonio Felix da Costa were at the start.
Verstappen supreme
During the first race Verstappen really showed his superiority, when the Dutchman drove almost ten seconds away from the number two Larry ten Voorde. Daniel Juncadella was followed third by Lando Norris, Tom Dillmann and Richard Verschoor.
During the second race Verstappen was slightly less supreme, but a gap of over four seconds was still enough to drive to victory without any problems. Larry ten Voorde finished second again, but this time it was Ayhancan Guven who perfected the podium. Norris didn't come close to the podium in the second race.
