Norris sticks to his opinion: "Racing Point is still fourth team"
- GPblog.com
Lando Norris remains of the opinion that Racing Point is the fourth team in 2020. Last season, the Brit and his team, McLaren, were the best in the midfield. However, Norris expects that, despite the long stop they now have, Racing Point is still the strongest in midfield.
"It's not allowed to do anything in the factory, so when we get back on the track, the cars will be exactly the same as during the winter test," Norris told Motorsport.com. Norris expects that some progress will be made, but that won't make any new differences.
Small details will make a difference
"I expect the ranking to remain the same. So behind the three top teams we'll probably see Racing Point and then the rest". The Brit already performed relatively well in his debut year in Formula 1, and is doing everything possible to perform even better in 2020. "We need to make sure that when we race again we're in top form".
Norris does this in his own way, by taking part in various online races, such as the Virtual Grands Prix of F1 and the various races at iRacing. "Perhaps more than last year, small details will make the difference."
