Vettel not happy with the media: ''The questions change every day''

Sebastian Vettel is under pressure at Ferrari after a less season than his teammate. Charles Leclerc won the internal duel with the Italian team, but Vettel says he doesn't care about that at all.
Vettel doesn't look at the points
In 2019 Vettel finally finished one place and fourteen points behind his teammate. It was especially painful because Vettel was the outspoken leader at the beginning of the year, but quickly lost that status. Leclerc became faster and faster throughout the season and Vettel was the boss in qualifying and racing.
''It doesn't matter if I have five points more on less than Charles. It's much more important that we as a team go in the right direction. Last year that was disappointing and we took a step back. We need to understand that and get better. That's my goal and those five points more or less don't interest me'', Vettel talks to Motorsport.com.
Media gets the blame
The situation surrounding his contract and future is therefore mainly due to the media. ''The questions are different every day and after every result that is also the case. Nowadays, they are much more concerned with short-term reports. Your performance can be a disaster one week and the next week you're a hero.''
''Of course, that's always been the case, but the speed of those changes is different now. Not only in F1, but probably everywhere. Just look at the financial market where everything goes up and down as well. You used to be upset by a fall, but now it's just different every day'', concludes Vettel with a nice comparison.
