Red Bull Racing will be back in action on Sunday during the virtual Grand Prix of China, but Max Verstappen will not participate as the race will be held on the F1 2019 game of Codemasters. Red Bull opts for an eye-catching replacement.

Alexander Albon will appear at the start of the race, which is already the third on the calendar after the races in Australia and Bahrain. With more and more Formula 1 drivers at the start, the race can also be taken a lot more seriously, but not by Max. Max doesn't think the game is realistic and doesn't want to waste any time on it.

The Thai will get in and will of course be curious about his teammate. That's a surprise though, because Red Bull chooses Real Madrid-keeper Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian competed in several simraces and surprised friend and foe with great performances. Red Bull doesn't quite choose an inexperienced driver.

''Red Bull has helped me a lot in recent weeks with some tips to get even better, so I'm really looking forward to starting the race this weekend'', says the goalie who hasn't been able to train since the coronavirus. So I had time to drive a race from Madrid, which can be followed live again on Sunday at GPblog.
