Ferrari produces protective masks for hospitals in Italy
- GPblog.com
Ferrari has started producing mouthpieces. As a result, the team is helping care in Italy, which is still under great pressure from the coronavirus. The Italian team is not the only team that does its bit to help care. Mercedes has already stated that it produces respiratory equipment for care in the United Kingdom.
Ferrari shows in a video how they can produce mouthpieces through the 3D printing facilities in Maranello. In addition, they also produce other protection devices to protect the carers from the coronavirus. Italy is one of the hardest hit countries in the world, so these mouthguards will be very important.
More plans for the future
Ferrari announces that in the next few days they "intend to supply several hundred products to several hospitals in Italy". In a video, Ferrari shows on Twitter the process of good protection.
