Vettel: "Nobody likes that. It feels weird"

The coronavirus plagues the entire racing world, including Formula 1. F1 is now looking at the possibilities of racing without an audience. Something Sebastian Vettel is not yet a fan of.
Cancellations of races
"I miss Hockenheim, but this race wasn't on the calendar anyway", starts Vettel to F1-insider.com. "I will miss Melbourne, Monaco and Montreal. I will miss them all. It will be difficult if Suzuka gets cancelled as well."
Empty grandstands
Vettel is not yet a big fan of the idea of driving in front of empty grandstands. "Nobody likes to drive in front of empty grandstands. That feels weird", he says. However, he admits that in these circumstances regarding COVID-19 you can have a race without an audience rather than a race with an audience.
Vettel thinks the most important thing now is that the sport can survive this blow. "You don't have to take a snapshot", says the Ferrari driver. "You'd better wait and not have 'ghost races'. I also don't think that it would be the same on television, if you were driving in front of empty seats."
