Leclerc wins again in China; choose the circuit for the next Virtual GP!
- GPblog.com
Charles Leclerc is actually a newcomer to the world of online sim racing, but in just a few weeks time he'll be able to master the official F1 game of Codemasters. On Sunday evening, just like two weeks earlier, he was the strongest again.
After the Australian Grand Prix was virtually caught up with two weeks ago, the virtual event this weekend was held on the Sunday that the Chinese Grand Prix was supposed to take place. Just like at Albert Park, Charles Leclerc was again the strongest, although the Ferrari driver had to fight for it.
The Monegask managed to qualify excellently with a pole position and kept his position after the start. Contrary to two weeks earlier, however, he couldn't drive away now. Throughout the race he had Alexander Albon's Red Bull in his neck and Stoffel Vandoorne and Guanyu Zhou also had a chance of victory.

However, Leclerc managed to keep a cool head and extended his lead after the pit stops to more than three seconds. Behind the leading pair, Zhou's chances seemed to have been lost due to a spin, but in the end Vandoorne got the third place back weighing in a penalty for Vandoorne.
For the next Virtual Grand Prix the fans can vote on which circuit it will be held. They can choose between Suzuka, COTA, Mexico City or Interlagos.
Another amazing #VirtualGP!
