'The winner of adjusted season 2020 is not a full-fledged champion'.

That the 22 races that were planned for 2020 will no longer all be driven is now certain. Among others the GP of Australia and the GP of Monaco will not be ridden at a later time. A shortened season is a fact. Thus the question: 'Will the driver who takes the title in 2020 still be a full-fledged champion?'
The organization of F1 is currently doing everything possible to still organize races this year. They try to continue as many races as possible. It is still being discussed which races will be held, when which race can best take place and whether or not the races should be held with an audience.
According to the statutes of the sport, a season must consist of at least eight races to consider it a full season. For the time being, this number still seems possible in 2020. According to the rules, the strongest driver over these eight races would be allowed to take the golden trophy and call himself world champion.
Winner 2020 not a full-fledged champion
The driver who takes the title this season will still carry with him the blemish that he would have driven a shortened season. In addition, his championship could be more strongly influenced by luck and he would have shown less consistent results than the previous champions.
Especially Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, who took the most titles in the last ten years, have shown that they can perform consistently and win a 'long' season with many races. In that sense, they don't have to prove themselves anymore.
If Max Verstappen could go for the title this year then the argument that the season was shortened could be used against him. Hence the statement: 'The winner of adjusted season 2020 is not a full champion'.
What do you guys think about this? Let us know what you think in the comments below. Isn't the 2020 winner a full champion because he won a shorter season with fewer races or is the winner a champion with an extra golden edge because of the increased pressure from triple-headers and shortened weekends?
