Windsor: ''At Ferrari he also gets into a 'Verstappen-situation' with Leclerc''

One of the names that emerges as a replacement for Sebastian Vettel at Ferrari is that of Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian would love to go to Ferrari after his failed adventure at Renault.
Still, there are some questions there. For example, Ricciardo ran away from Red Bull Racing to avoid the duel with Max Verstappen. He wanted to be leader of a team, but at Renault that didn't turn out to be a success. Former team manager of Williams, Peter Windsor, is confident that Ricciardo has learned from this.
Learned from duel with Verstappen
''Ricciardo is an interesting option, because he went to Renault but will now realize that it was a wrong choice. It is important to have a good team around you that you know and appreciate qualities as was the case with Red Bull. You can't go to Renault and expect that suddenly there is," says Windsor in his latest video.
''Ricciardo will now realize that he could have stayed better, but now that he can't go back Ferrari is a good choice. He must have learned from it, because at Ferrari he will also be in the 'Verstappen-situation' with Leclerc as teammate. However, if he deals with that as he did in the beginning with Max, he can get great results. However, he has to accept it if Leclerc wins from him," concludes Windsor, who himself sees the best candidate for Ferrari in Antonio Giovinazzi.
