'Manager Bottas is also in contact with Red Bull Racing'

Valtteri Bottas' contract expires at the end of 2020 and Toto Wolff does not want to talk about a contract extension for the time being. The Finn is therefore looking at his options and even a spot at Red Bull Racing is now being investigated.
Every year Valtteri Bottas has to fight for his spot at Mercedes. The Finn has already indicated that he doesn't like having to drive under constant pressure. Wolff's statement that a new contract will not be negotiated for the time being will probably not have reached Bottas properly.
It looks like the experienced Finn is exploring his options for 2021. The departure of Sebastian Vettel at Ferrari has created a true seat dance and Bottas could lose his seat, but possibly also take advantage of it.
Fishing for seats
Earlier this week rumours surfaced that the manager of Bottas, Didier Coton, is in talks with Cyril Abiteboul for a seat at Renault. Since the transfer of Daniel Ricciardo, the team is missing an experienced driver.
That just doesn't seem to have been the only place Coton has been to. According to F1 Insider the manager also invited Christian Horner of Red Bull Racing for dinner. Alexander Albon's contract also expires at the end of 2020, but according to Helmut Marko his contract can be extended if he shows the same progress as in 2019. With only seven drivers currently on contract for 2021, anything is still possible during Silly Season.
