Due to the corona crisis and the delayed start of the season, the drivers are better prepared than ever for the upcoming championship. At least, that's what the top riders want the world to believe. This time it's Charles Leclerc's turn.

Max Verstappen came this week already with a training video from Monaco and Lewis Hamilton leaves no interview unused to say that he has never been so sharp and fit. It's a fact that training is hard, but it also smacks of a form of psychological warfare and Leclerc can't be left behind.

"When I go to bed I think of racing, and when I get up I think of racing again. I miss it enormously. And I train more intensively than ever to be ready to the last fibre of my body as soon as it finally starts," says a highly motivated Leclerc in the talk show E poi c'è Cattelan.

Still, he doesn't want to increase the pressure too much right away and reacts cautiously when asked about his chances of winning the title in 2020. "I don't know what to expect. All I know is that I have to work hard and still have a long way to go. Yes, I hope one day to become world champion, but that's still a long way to go".
