Charles Leclerc is undoubtedly one of the greatest talents in Formula 1 and he may even be able to compete for the world title in 2020. However, the Ferrari driver believes that he still has a lot to learn and that he must continue to work hard to make that dream come true.

"I have no idea what to expect, I've never taken the title before", says Leclerc in conversation with Sky Italia when asked about his expectations of being his Formula 1 world champion.

After a year with the Sauber team, the now 22 year old driver was immediately allowed to show it at the Ferrari superpower. Last year he did so by convincingly beating teammate four times world champion Sebastian Vettel, but Leclerc knows better than anyone that he has to show it every season, every weekend. "I have to work hard for it, there is still a long way to go", he refers to achieving his first world title in the pinnacle of motorsport.

Young Monegask's career is going very fast, but he remains sober himself. "I'm happy with my development so far, but there's still a lot to do", says Leclerc, who is currently doing everything in his power to appear fit and strong at the start of the season in Austria. "I think only one thing: racing. I miss it enormously and I'm training more than ever to be ready for it later on".
