Horner to advantage for Albon: ''He can take advantage of this in Austria''

Red Bull Racing had a successful test at the Silverstone circuit on Thursday. Alexander Albon was able to make 100 kilometres for a filming day with the RB16, which team boss Christian Horner looks back on with satisfaction.
Red Bull test at Silverstone
''We were at Silverstone today practicing garage protocols and pit stop procedures with the new COVID-19 precautions. As a test drive this was great for the team to get them used to these procedures, which are a little strange, but which are vital'', Horner said in the statement of Red Bull.
Red Bull isn't the first team to test the rules with a day on the track. For example, the entire top seven of the 2019 constructors' championship were already on the circuit and only Haas, Alfa Romeo and Williams will be in action during the first free practice in Austria.
Advantage for Albon
''It's important for the safety of our team and everyone around us in Formula 1. We also have the #WeRaceAsOne messaging on the car for the first time today. It's enormously positive that all teams are involved in this important initiative led by Formula 1 and everyone at Aston Martin Red Bull Racing is fully behind it," acknowledged Horner, who also sees the benefit for driver Albon.
''Today has been very useful for Alex as well, to get the feeling with the car again. He's still relatively inexperienced in Formula 1, so to have a day that is well spread and to do those 100 km, albeit on show tyres, is something he can take to Austria and take advantage of'', concludes Horner.
