Wolff may want to go into space with Mercedes

If we are to believe Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff, some of the staff may soon focus on a space project.

"The space project is still at a very early stage of discussion", reveals Toto Wolff in conversation with ThisIsMoney. According to Wolff, a space operator has shown interest in working with the team from Brackley.
"We see ourselves as a high performance engineering boutique", explains Wolff. "What we're doing is improving performance on land, at sea, in the air and possibly in space."
Transfer
A number of employees of the F1 team can be transferred to other projects. For example, they can work for Daimler itself or work on the Mercedes Formula E team.
