Giovinazzi: "I'm a big supporter of triple header in Italy!"

It looks like the F1 calendar is going to have a Grand Prix on the Mugello circuit. Imola's boss even wants to turn it into an Italian triple header. An announcement that makes Antonio Giovinazzi very excited.
As the only Italian driver on the grid, Antonio Giovinazzi is always looking forward to the Italian Grand Prix. On the Monza circuit the attention is only often focused on Ferrari, which is not strange given the usual amount of fans dressed in red at the grand stands. Giovinazzi can look forward to this season with the possibility of more than three home races.
"I am very happy to hear all those rumors, because to race three times in Italy is something that will never happen again. I would be the first Italian F1 driver to have driven three Italian races in one year," said the Alfa Romeo driver with a big smile during the F1 podcast.
A big supporter
Chances are that Mugello will be officially announced as the Grand Prix of Tuscany on Monday. Whether Imola will also get a spot on the calendar is not yet known, but the boss of the circuit has expressed the wish emphatically. In any case, the owner has the support of Giovinazzi. "I'm a big supporter, it would be really cool."
"Unfortunately, it won't be the same as the last time I raced in Italy. The people make the difference for me, the fans, the Tifosi. Unfortunately the spectators won't be there. We'll see what happens, but as I said, I'm a big supporter. They are three fantastic tracks to race on," concluded Giovinazzi.
