Hamilton has to report to stewards for ignoring yellow flags and tracklimits

Lewis Hamilton has to report to the race management on Saturday evening after qualifying and in theory this could have major consequences for the Mercedes driver. He will be examined for his two fast laps in Q3.
In the first fast lap he will be examined for exceeding the track limits in turn 10. This is the last turn before the straight. Other years the drivers were kept inboard here with high kerbstones. Because this caused too much damage, an electronic detection system has been installed instead.
In the replay it could already be seen during qualifying that Hamilton came out wider than normal in his first flying lap. The usual penalty for those violations is that the match committee declares that round invalid. Something that happened to several drivers this weekend.
In his second flying lap Valtteri Bottas went off the track just in front of him. This created a yellow flag situation, but Hamilton improved his time. Also for this he is called to the stewards.
