Mol had to bite his tongue: ''Shows that Albon has no racecraft''

Red Bull Racing was empty-handed after the Austrian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen retired after lap eleven and Alexander Albon retired late in the race after an failed overtake attemp on Lewis Hamilton.
Albon pitted for the red tyre behind the two Mercedes drivers during the second Safety Car. Albon seemed to be able to get a victory, but the Thai was too eager and tried to overtake Lewis Hamilton outside. Albon was sent to through the gravel and according to Christijan Albers that is his own fault.
Attack on Albon
''It's absurd that Hamilton was punished for this, this was just a race incident'', says Albers at the podcast F1 aan Tafel of Grand Prix Radio. ''I had to bite my tongue to not burn him during the race, but this shows once again that Albon has no racecraft'', Olav Mol is not too positive either about Albon.
''He already did it in Brazil and now again. Max would never do such an action. Albon is catching up now. If you wait a lap you can just pass it and win that race'', said the commentator of Ziggo Sport. However, according to Albers, the problem also lies with the leadership of Red Bull Racing.
Problems at Red Bull Racing
"How Red Bull deals with the talents is not fair. First of all, as a teammate, you already know that Max doesn't give you any mercy. How can you perform as a driver if you get zero confidence from the team? How is a young driver supposed to have confidence in that car?'', Albers asks himself.
''Marko already has the intention to expel someone who underperforms a little. Then somebody can never get in next to Verstappen. Marko would destroy Bottas as well. Trust is so important, you can see that now also with Vettel who is no longer advancing in that Ferrari'', concludes Albers.
