Horner: "We have many good memories of the time with Sebastian"

That Sebastian Vettel would leave Ferrari at the end of 2020 was already known before the start of the Formula 1 season, but the way it happened is incomprehensible to many people.
Vettel let us know before the Austrian Grand Prix how it really went. Ferrari had revealed that both parties had discussed this, but according to Vettel nothing was true. He had never had an offer from Ferrari and was told the day before the announcement of Sainz that he wouldn't get an offer.
"We have many good memories of the time with Sebastian and it would be a great loss for Formula 1 if he leaves'', Christian Horner said during the broadcast of Sport & Talk from ServusTV.
Vettel got the news by phone, which of course makes it even more embarrassing for Ferrari. However, Red Bull Racing cannot mean anything to Vettel. ''We have two drivers who are doing great and we don't expect to be able to offer a place to Vettel. We didn't expect him to come on the market either,'' Horner confirms what Helmut Marko hinted at earlier.
